Hi, my name is Ellen Nicholas. I am a Functional Health & Wellness Practitioner, Board Certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner, and trained and certified as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN Practitioner).
As part of my work, I don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions — instead, I help clients identify healing opportunities and restore balance through nutrition, lifestyle, and stress-resilience strategies — helping the body recover from the many kinds of “stress” it faces, from everyday tension to hidden internal imbalances.
I serve those who need a new and different healing path after months, years or decades of chronic pain, disabling fatigue and overall misery. I live in the Hudson Valley of New York State practicing both online and occasionally in-person in Rhinebeck, NY.

Within my 18-week program: Mystery Illness Solution with a combination of Roots & Wings Assessment followed biweekly 1:1 appointments, digital workbook, video or emailed responses to messaged questions, a private Facebook group for engagement, education and ongoing encouragement, and Facebook office hours from 10-11 on Mondays and from 3:30-4:30 on Thursdays.
I have a public Facebook Page: Roots & Wings For Renewed Health. I also hold Facebook office hours at the same hours as above two mornings per week where I will be available to answer potential client questions as they arise. If questions are personal, rather than general, they might turn into quick phone calls.
